Tess

Updated: Oct 7, 2021

My Tess, who taught me what is so special about dogs. She was with me from a pup and lived until she was 15. She was diagnosed with heart disease at the age 11 & 1/2 years old. That was the starting point for me to try to give her the best of whatever life she had left, her prognosis was at the most 6 months, however she lived a happy healthy life for the next 3 1/2 years. Saddest day of my life when she left us and the hardest decision I have ever had to make.

In the early years and with the support of my mum we taught her all the basic commands and so much more, she was eager to learn, loved treats and playing fetch with her ball. so clever in fact that she knew the name of everyone one of her stuffed toys, as she would fetch one over to you when you asked her to, from a basket of around a dozen.

Tess, was my inspiration to do what I do. She will always be in my heart and never forgotten.
